Victoria Takacs is an interdisciplinary researcher and entrepreneur whose work focuses on the application of complex systems science to health, accountability, and resilience of societal systems. She is currently developing Swabber, a network-based platform for infection prevention and biosecurity, and KAREN (Knowledgeable Action for Rights & Ethics Negotiation), a civilian-driven accountability framework for mapping inefficiency and corruption networks with complex adaptive systems.

Her research interests include network science, agent-based modeling, and the design of adaptive systems that bridge theoretical models with practical interventions. At the Complex Systems Institute, she contributes to projects that integrate interdisciplinary methods with applied innovation to address large-scale societal challenges.
